Donegal maintained their 100% start in the Allianz Football League by defeating holders Kerry on a 1-22 to 1-18 scoreline in Ballyshannon this afternoon.
The repeat of last year’s All-Ireland SFC final went the way of the Ulster champions this time around, with Daire Ó Baoill’s goal on the half-hour mark helping them to lead by 1-8 to 0-7 at the interval.

Cúl! An-phas isteach agus críochnaithe go hálainn ag Dáire Ó Baoill 🤯
Kerry are caught sleeping at the back, and it's in the back of the net!

Jim McGuinness’s side commenced the second-half in promising fashion also as Michael Langan fired over a superb two-pointer for them and repeated the trick minutes later to create an eight-point margin between the teams.
The scores of Sean O’Shea and Tony Brosnan looked to try and claw back the deficit for the Kingdom, who were down David Clifford and a couple more regulars for this one, but the hosts were able to keep them at bay as substitute Oisin Gallen fired over a point less than a minute into his introduction.
Another points from Michael Murphy would round off their tally as Donagh O’Sullivan’s goal with two minutes remaining proved mere consolation in the end.
