Kealy returns to Dunshaughlin hotseat

Dunshaughlin manager Richie Kealy

Richie Kealy has reprised his role as Dunshaughlin senior football manager, less than 12 months after stepping down.

The former club and county star succeeds his brother Kevin, who guided Dunshaughlin to a Meath Division 1 League title this year. After dodging a bullet in the group stages, the 2024 Keegan Cup winners went on to reach the Meath SFC semi-final, only to come up short against eventual winners Summerhill.

“Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels are delighted to announce that Richie Kealy has been ratified for a three-year term as manager to our men’s senior football team,” a club statement read.

“Richie, who previously managed our men’s team to win Intermediate and Senior Championship titles, will be joined by Tom Clarke and Darren Daly. We want to wish them and our players well.”
