The meeting of champions Dr Crokes and Mid Kerry is the plum tie in the Kerry SFC Round 1 draw.
The draw took place following the completion of the Divisional / District mini-series yesterday. North Kerry, who are an amalgamation of the former Shannon Rangers and Feale Rangers combinations, defeated St Kieran's to set up a date with Kenmare Shamrocks, while Rathmore and West Kerry have both received byes into the quarter-finals.
There are two all-club ties which will see Dingle take on Na Gaeil, and Austin Stack and Milltown/Castlemaine face off in a battle of the last two intermediate winners. The Round 1 ties take place next weekend with extra-time to be played if necessary.
