In what may well be a first in the GAA, two of Kerry's famous Ó Sé brothers are expected to manage the county's minor and U20 football teams in 2026.

While Tomás is set to remain at the U20 helm for a fourth year, younger sibling Marc is tipped to succeed Wayne Quillinan as minor manager. It will be Marc's first step into inter-county management, having previously coached Listry and Listowel Emmetts at club level and Tralee CBS in the Corn Uí Mhuirí.

Along with older brother Darragh, Tomás and Marc have won a combined 16 All-Ireland SFC medals - Darragh winning six, Tomás five and Marc five.

Marc's appointment to the minor role would appear to close the door on Kieran Donaghy, who recently stepped down from his coaching role with Armagh after five seasons, being involved with his native county next year.
