Conor Gormley believes Tyrone’s chances of beating Armagh in tomorrow’s Ulster SFC semi-final will increase dramatically if Darragh Canavan is fit to play.
Canavan missed the quarter-final win over Cavan with a hamstring problem and is central to Tyrone’s hopes of overcoming the All-Ireland champions, Gormley told the GAA Social podcast.
"Darragh is going to be massive, if he is fit it's a whole new extra dimension to Tyrone," the three-time All-Ireland winning defender said.
"Do Armagh put a man marker on him? It gives them a bit more to think about."
He added: "I think they can beat Armagh, but it will take a massive shift. After watching what Antrim did to Armagh, if Tyrone pick a bit off that they could cause them serious problems."
