Stephen Bennett will make his 100th appearance for the Waterford senior hurlers this weekend.

The Ballysaggart sharpshooter will reach the milestone when he lines out against All-Ireland champions Clare in Waterford’s first game of this year’s Munster SHC at Walsh Park on Sunday. A prodigious underage talent, Bennett made his senior debut against Wexford in 2014 and has scored a whopping 38-546 in the blue and white since then.

He won an All-Star in 2020 and was also shortlisted for Hurler of the Year after the Deise contested the All-Ireland SHC final against Limerick behind-closed-doors that year.
