The Ulster SFC quarter-final between Donegal and Derry will kickstart RTÉ’s 2025 GAA Championship coverage.
The local derby takes place in Ballybofey on Sunday, April 6, throwing in at 2pm. The Sunday Game also returns to TV screens that evening on RTÉ2 for another season. Joanne Cantwell will present the live show, while Jacqui Hurley will continue to anchor the highlights show.
The state broadcaster will carry live coverage of all four provincial football finals as well as the Munster and Leinster hurling deciders, the Joe McDonagh Cup and Tailteann Cup finals, plus the All-Ireland semi-finals in football, hurling and Camogie.
Supporters can follow the action on TV and radio, or stream games and highlights online.
Additionally, Irish language TV commentary will be available on select games from 7 June, starting with the Munster SHC final and including the Leinster SHC final, All-Ireland quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals in football and hurling along with the All-Ireland Camogie final and the Tailteann Cup final.
According to the RTÉ schedule, the All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals are listed as Saturday fixtures once again, with the Tailteann Cup semi-finals retaining their Sunday afternoon slots on the same weekend. However, this could yet change after the scheduling caused considerable disquiet in hurling circles last year.
RTÉ will announce their full coverage details in the coming weeks.
