Wexford came from eight points down to defeat Tipperary by 1-13 to 1-12 at Chadwicks Wexford Park this evening to maintain their 100% record in Division 4 of the Allianz Football League.

Already promoted coming into this one, the Slaneysiders looked in a world of trouble as they trailed by 1-12 to 0-7 after Tipp found their net with a two-point attempt in the 53rd minute.

However, from that point on the hosts would shut out their Munster counterparts, hitting an unanswered 1-6 which included a goal from Mark Rossiter and a last-gasp point from veteran Ben Brosnan which proved the difference between the sides in the end.

In Dungarvan, Jason Curry landed 0-11 as Waterford claimed their first win of the 2025 season by seeing off London on a 1-19 to 2-11 scoreline.

The home side led for long stages and could even afford to ship a late goal as Dylan Guiry’s goal at the death sealed their first points in Division 4.

Meanwhile, Carlow secured their second win of the campaign with an emphatic 2-20 to 0-14 victory over Longford at Newatch Cullen Park, where Sean Murphy and Mikey Bambrick struck the goals during a dominant first-half for the hosts.

Tomorrow afternoon is set to see Wicklow and Limerick battling it out in the race to try and join Wexford in promotion to Division 3, with throw-in at Echelon Park, Aughrim at 2pm.
