Kevin Ryan is the new manager of Laois senior hurling outfit Borris-Kilcotton.
The Waterford man is one of the most experienced managers in the game, having previously had spells in charge of Carlow, Offaly, Antrim and Tyrone. He replaces Paudie Bourke, who has returned to his native Tipperary to take charge of Roscrea this year.
Under Bourke, Borris-Kilcotton won the Laois PIHC title at their first attempt last season with a 2-16 to 0-19 win over Ballinakill in the final. It came after the 2016 senior champions suffered a surprise relegation in 2023 after contesting Bob O’Keeffe Cup deciders in 2020 and ’21.
