Mayo will meet Monaghan in a senior football charity match early in the New Year.
In the absence of pre-season competitions, Hastings Insurance MacHale Park will host the game under lights on Saturday, January 4 at 6.30pm. All proceeds will go to Mayo GAA's charity partner, Mayo Motor Neurone Association.
The new football rules, which were passed at Special Congress last month, will get their first airing at the game, for which tickets will go on sale shortly.
