Details of the TUS Dr Harty Cup knockout stages have been finalised following the Round 3 games.
Three teams have already qualified for the quarter-finals of the famous Munster Post Primary Schools U19 ‘A’ Hurling Championship in the New Year. They are Group 1 winners CBC Cork, Group 2 winners Ardscoil Rís Limerick and CBS Midleton, who were selected following a draw between the winners of the groups with three teams.
De La Salle College and St Flannan’s College, Ennis topped the other three-team groups and will face off in the preliminary quarter-finals as a result of the draw.
The fourth quarter-final spot will be filled by the winner of Group 3. This will be either Blackwater Community School, Lismore or Cashel Community School who meet on Tuesday.
The preliminary quarter-final draw will take place after that game, with repeat pairings being avoided.
The teams involved in the Preliminary Quarter-Final draw are as follows –
Group 5 winner – De La Salle College
Group 6 winner – St. Flannan’s College Ennis
Group 1 runner-up – John the Baptist Community School
Group 2 runner-up – Our Lady’s Templemore
Group 3 runner-up – loser of next Tuesday’s Blackwater Community School Lismore v Cashel Community School game.
Group 4 runner-up – Nenagh CBS
Group 5 runner-up – Gaelcholáiste Mhuire an Mhainistir Thuaidh
Group 6 runner-up – Thurles CBS

Semi-Finals – January 18th
Final – February 1st
