Gary Boyle has been named as the new Donegal U20 football manager.
The Naomh Muire clubman, who succeeds Shaun Paul Barrett in the role, is currently part of the Southwest Donegal MacRory Cup management team and has worked with the Donegal GAA Academy in the past. Donegal were beaten by a last-minute Derry point in this year’s Ulster U20FC semi-final at Ballybofey.
Boyle’s appointment was ratified at Monday night’s county board meeting along with those of Jim McGuinness (senior football), Michael McCann (senior hurling), Adie Gaffey (U20 hurling), Barry Ward (minor football) and Daithí Roberts (minor hurling).
