New Tyrone football boss Malachy O'Rourke has added Chris Lawn to his management ticket.

The former full back, who won All-Ireland SFC medals in 2003 and '05, is expected to be the final addition to a management set-up which also includes Ryan Porter, Leo McBride and Colm McCullagh. McCullagh is also a double Sam Maguire Cup winner who won Tyrone SFC honours on three occasions as a player with St Dympna’s and once – in 2021 – as manager.

Lawn managed Cookstown to an All-Ireland Club IFC title in 2010 and is currently involved with his home club Moortown, who are preparing for a county IFC semi-final next weekend.
