New Tyrone football manager Malachy O’Rourke has bolstered his backroom team with the addition of former county sharpshooter Colm McCullagh.

A double All-Ireland SFC winner in 2005 and ’08, McCullagh joins Ryan Porter and Leo McBride in the new-look management set-up. The Dromore native also won the O’Neill Cup three times as a player with St Dympna’s and once – in 2021 – as manager. In addition, McCullagh played Irish League soccer with Newry City and Omagh Town.

O’Rourke, who succeeded Brian Dooher and Feargal Logan in the Red Hand hotseat earlier this month, is expected to make at least one more addition to his backroom team.
