Newly-appointed Tyrone senior football manager Malachy O’Rourke is looking forward to getting down to business.
Acknowledging that he has ‘massive shoes to fill’, the long-time Ballygawley resident said in his first interview since his appointment on Tuesday night: "I know that I'm going to play a very small part in the history of Tyrone GAA no matter what I do, but I just hope that I can do it justice and that I can bring success in the time that I'm here.
"It's a matter of trying to get everyone on the same page and giving them something to aim at, of making sure that everybody is valued. I think that's an important thing, that you don't take players for granted.”
The All-Ireland winning Glen boss added in the interview with Tyrone GAA: "At the end of the day, in Tyrone it's the players that are the most important people and we have to do everything in our power to try and create an environment where them boys can flourish.
"If we do that and we take care of our side of things, well then it's up to the players then to produce what they can on the field. If people can see what you're trying to do and buy into that then you're halfway there.
"And then after that it's just about improving the performances as you go along and that whole idea of playing for the team is massive, you have to make sure that people are working as a team and that obviously gives you the best chance."
