Ashling Thompson has been named 2024 All-Ireland Senior Camogie final Player of the Match.
The long-serving star was outstanding as Cork retained the O'Duffy Cup with a 1-16 to 0-16 victory over Galway at Croke Park.
Meanwhile, victorious Cork manager Ger Manley claimed afterwards that it should have been a four-in-a-row rather than a two-in-a-row as he lamented the narrow final defeats of 2021 and '22.
“We should be going for five-in-a-row, we should be like Limerick. We should have won the last four if you go through it," he told reporters.
“They've raised the bar this year. The gym work, everything. We did one night a week during the league, one night in the gym. It is the work they do on their own that is key."
