Diane O'Hora has stepped down as Kildare senior ladies football manager after two successful years in charge.

The former Mayo star coached the Lilywhites for one year and managed them for the last two, winning Leinster and All-Ireland intermediate titles and also promotion from Division 3 to Division 1 of the Lidl National League.

In a statement, Kildare LGFA said: "It is with great regret that we must announce the resignation of our Senior County Manager Diane O’Hora this evening.

"We would like to thank Diane for her contribution and dedication to Kildare LGFA over the past 3 years and we wish Diane the best of luck with her future endeavours."
