Limerick's Johnny Murphy will officiate the All-Ireland senior hurling championship final between Clare and Cork on Sunday week, July 21st.

It will be the first time Murphy, affiliated with the Ballylanders club, has been the man in the middle for the Liam MacCarthy Cup decider. He previously refereed the All-Ireland MHC final in 2018, the 2021 All-Ireland U20HC and Leinster SHC finals, as well as an All-Ireland club SHC final. Murphy also oversaw this year's Allianz HL Division 1 final between Clare and Kilkenny.

Liam Gordon from Galway and Michael Kennedy of Tipperary have been appointed as linesmen, with Gordon acting as the standby referee while Dublin's Chris Mooney will serve as the sideline official.

Murphy's fellow clubmen Micheal Meade, James Hickey and Jimmy Barry Murphy and Andy Dooley from Garryspillane will be umpires on the day.
