Dublin boss Dessie Farrell has named his panel ahead of the team’s Leinster and All-Ireland senior football championship defences which commence on Sunday against Meath at Croke Park (4.30pm).
Named in the 40-man squad is 43-year-old goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton as well as fellow veterans Jack McCaffrey, James McCarthy, Michael Fitzsimons.
Cluxton had not featured for the Dubs throughout their run to the recent Allianz League Division 1 final, but it was confirmed last night that the nine-time All-Ireland winner has returned as the capital men seek their eighth Sam Maguire Cup success in 10 years.
