Holders Limerick will play Kilkenny while Clare face Tipperary in this year’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1 semi-finals.
The All-Ireland champions were held to a 0-17 to 0-17 draw this afternoon against Galway at Pearse Stadium, where a couple of late Evan Niland frees saw the Treaty men drop their first point of the campaign.
In Walsh Park, Kilkenny picked up their third win in Division 1 Group A by seeing off Waterford on a 0-18 to 2-9 scoreline as talisman TJ Ried once again starred for the Cats with 0-8.

Meanwhile, Clare ensured themselves a top place finish in Group A by edging out a gutsy Offaly side (0-23 to 1-19) in Birr, where David Reidy’s frees won it for the visitors late on.
The Banner men now face Tipperary in the last four after the Premier men handed Antrim a heavy 2-2-21 to 0-12 defeat at Corrigan Park, with both of their goals coming from Jake Morris late in each half.
Elsewhere, Cian O’Sullivan struck for 1-4 as Dublin handed Westmeath their fourth loss in Group B (2-22 to 0-15) and Cork were inspired by another Alan Connolly hat-trick of goals as they recorded a 3-21 to 1-15 win over Wexford at Chadwicks Wexford Park in Group A.
