The draws for the 2024 Offaly football and hurling championships took place live on Facebook last night.

With a controversial new format in place that sees all teams qualify for the knockout stages of the football championship irrespective of how they fare in the group stage, most of the focus was on the hurling draw where champions Kilcormac/Killoughey were drawn in the same group as St Rynagh's, Coolderry, Tullamore and Seir Kieran.

The other group comprises 2022 winners Shinrone, Ballinamere, Birr, Belmont and Kinnitty.
