Watch: St Thomas' crowned All-Ireland champions after Burke nails remarkable late winner

Eanna Burke struck an incredible late winner as St Thomas' (Galway) edged O’Loughlin Gaels (Kilkenny) by 0-18 to 0-17 at Croke Park to claim the All-Ireland club senior hurling championship crown.
The dramatic victory was sealed by Burke’s audacious effort out along the sideline in the fourth minute of injury-time which sailed between the posts and proved the difference between the sides in the end.
O’Loughlin Gaels had the led game by 0-10 to 0-8 at the halfway stage, having appeared to have the sliotar over their Galway counterparts’ goal line via Owen Wall during the opening quarter.
The goal wasn’t given though and, despite losing James Regan to a red card early in the restart, St Thomas’ fought back to take the lead with a couple of Conor Cooney frees and a Victor Manso point.
The 2013 champions would hold a two-point lead moving towards the added minutes when Conor Kelly and David Fogarty raised white flags to level it for the Gaels prior to Burke’s sensational effort at the death (watch it below) winning it for the Toms.
