Cork will play Kerry in next Friday night’s McGrath Cup final after dismantling Waterford with a 1-20 to 0-6 victory in Mallow this afternoon.

After edging a 0-6 to 0-4 lead at the halfway stage, the Rebels made the perfect start to the second-half that saw Colm O’Callaghan setting up Chris Og Jones for the visitors’ net.

John Cleary’s men moved through the gears after that as David Buckley, Eoghan McSweeney and Mark Cronin were among those to register points on the way towards a comfortable win.

Meanwhile, Tipperary were 1-11 to 0-10 winners over Limerick in the competition's other third round encounter today at Templetuohy, where Luke Shanahan struck the late goal for the victors.
