The Donegal senior football squad are set to travel to Tenerife tomorrow (Saturday) for a week-long warm weather training camp.

The camp will see returning manager Jim McGuinness take his panel away for a seven-day get together which marks the beginning of their preparations for the 2024 season.

Funds for the trip, which are understood to be in the region of €80,000, are believed to already be covered.

The Tir Chonaill men’s 2024 campaign gets underway early next month when they enter the Dr McKenna Cup before their Allianz League Division 2 campaign gets underway at the end of January.
