Trevor Giles has been named as a Meath senior football team coach.
The Royal County legend takes over from Paul Garrigan who stepped down after this summer's Tailteann Cup win. It will be Giles' second stint in the role, having previously coached Meath during Mick O'Dowd's reign from 2013 to '16.
"Trevor is a welcome addition to the backroom team for the coming season," Meath GAA chairman John Kavanagh said.
"One of the greatest footballers of his generation, this is a magnificent appointment for Meath GAA and will add greatly to our backroom team as we look to build upon the success of winning the Tailteann Cup."
