The Kilkenny SHC got underway last weekend with wins for All-Ireland club champions Ballyhale Shamrocks, Mullinavat, Bennettsbridge and Graigue Ballycallan.
Graigue Ballycallan defeated Clara in an excellent contest at UPMC Nowlan Park, but it will be remembered for this bizarre own goal from Richie Keoghan. The Graigue Ballycallan player inadvertently lobbed his own goalkeeper in the 50th minute to reduce his side's lead to a point, but fortunately it didn't effect the result as Graigue kicked on for a 1-18 to 1-14 victory to set up a quarter-final meeting with James Stephens this weekend.
TweetNot something you see everyday. Richie Keoghan lobs his OWN keeper to concede an OWN GOAL. ๐๐

A moment to forget for @graiguebcGAA, although they still manage to come out on top against @ClaraGAA in an epic contest. ๐ ๐
