Dublin star Hannah Tyrrell has been named the Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month for August.
The Na Fianna ace registered eight of Dublin’s 0-11 first-half points in last month’s All-Ireland ladies senior football championship final victory over Kerry at Croke Park.
The performance saw Tyrrell named as ‘Player of the Match’ after the victory which marked the capital women’s first Brendan Martin Cup success since 2020.
Having linked up with Mick Bohan’s squad off the back of a fantastic International rugby career, the now 33-year-old enjoyed an outstanding individual season with Dublin this year that saw her notching 1-21 in total during the championship.
