Fresh from scoring an incredible solo goal for his club Fossa in the Kerry IFC last Sunday, David Clifford showed he’s no mean golfer with an outrageous shot at the Horizon Irish Open Pro-Am yesterday.
Among a star-studded line-up at the event in The K Club, the reigning Footballer of the Year replicated Rory McIlroy’s famous shot at the same hole on his way to winning the Irish Open in 2016 with a 280-yard drive which landed within 10 feet of the hole.
Comedian Conor Moore was on hand to capture the moment on video.
