Jack O’Connor will continue as Kerry senior football manager for another two years.

The extension was rubberstamped at last night's county board meeting after O'Connor's initial two-year term came to an end following the Kingdom's All-Ireland SFC final loss to Dublin in July.

O'Connor's backroom team has yet to be confirmed, but it's expected that Micheál Quirke and Diarmuid Murphy will continue as selectors and Paddy Tally as coach.

Last night's meeting also gave former Waterford star Stephen Molumphy the green light to continue as senior hurling manager for a third year.
