Armagh LGFA are on the lookout for a new senior manager following Shane McCormack’s departure from the post after one year in charge.
McCormack had been part of Ronan Murphy’s backroom team and took over the Orchard women after the latter stepped down at the end of last season.
The Kildare man steered Armagh to the National League Division 2 in April before the team suffered an Ulster final loss to Donegal and crashed out of the All-Ireland SFC race at the hands of Cork earlier this month.
In a statement released yesterday, McCormack cited work and travel commitments as his reason for stepping down.
