Cork manager Pat Ryan is hoping his side can make it two wins from two in the Munster SHC on Saturday evening.

The Rebels opened with an emphatic victory over Waterford last Sunday and are eager to build on that against Tipperary.

"It makes life a bit easier when you get a win under the belt and we have a bit of momentum going into the Tipperary game on Saturday night," Ryan told RTÉ at the Dylan Quirke Foundation fundraising drive launch in Clonoulty-Rossmore yesterday.

"It is a huge game. They had a fantastic win against Clare. We have two home games and we have to get the most value out of them that we can.

"We know Tipperary will be coming down well prepared, with Liam Cahill and Mikey Beavins and the lads they have involved. So we need to be well prepared for them.

"It's a huge rivalry, Cork and Tipperary, real traditional fare. There will be skin and hair flying below in Páirc Ui Chaoimh."
