Stephen Cluxton made a surprise start for Dublin in this afternoon’s Leinster SFC semi-final against Kildare at Croke Park.
The 41-year-old had not lined-out between the posts for the capital men since their All-Ireland SFC final victory over Mayo at the same venue in December 2020.
Having made a sensational return to the squad last month against Louth, Cluxton was named in goal by manager Dessie Farrell instead of David O’Hanlon for his 110th championship appearance.
