Holders Tyrone secured top seeding in the Ulster minor football championship after demolishing Antrim with an 8-17 to 0-2 victory in Omagh this afternoon.
After having built up a 3-4 to 0-0 lead at the halfway stage, the Red Hands added five more goals after the turnaround with Brian Gallagher getting the ball rolling for them again early in the second-half.
Elsewhere, there was a third-round win for Cavan over Armagh at the Athletic Grounds, where it finished 1-16 to 1-7, with the Breffni lads’ goal coming from Odhran Madden in the 57th minute.
The competition’s fourth round matches earlier today saw Derry handsome winners over Donegal (3-12 to 0-6) in Ballybofey, while Fermanagh made their goals count in a 4-8 to 1-10 victory against Down in Enniskillen.
