Tyrone bounced back from their disappointing display against Roscommon last weekend to book a 0-16 to 0-8 win against Donegal in Omagh this afternoon.

Ace attacker Darren McCurry led the way for the Red Hands with 0-7 while Darragh Canavan hit three points from play to help get his county and running in Division 1 of the Allianz Football League.

Brian Kennedy, Frank Burns and McCurry shot points that steered the hosts towards a 0-6 to 0-3 lead at the half ahead of Cathal McShane, McCurry and Canavan (2) putting them seven to the good come the 53rd minute.

Jamie Brennan and Hugh McFadden grabbed some sorely needed points for the Tir Chonaill men but it was Tyrone that made their way towards a double scores victory to gain their first points of the campaign.
