Tipperary delivered a ruthless display against Laois in Thurles this evening to get their Allianz Hurling League Division 1B campaign up and running.
It finished 2-32 to 0-18 at Semple Stradium, where Seamus Kennedy and Jake Morris lashed in the goals for the victors while Gearoid O’Connor weighed in with eleven points.
Patrick 'Bonnar' Maher set-up Kennedy for his side’s first goal on 12 minutes as they went on to take in a commanding 1-17 to 0-7 lead at the half.
PJ Scully (3), Fiachra Fennell, Tomas Keyes (2) and William Dunphy registered the visitors’ first-half scores and they’d outclasses again in the second-half, with Morris coming off the bench to eventually hammer in Tipp’s second goal late on that confirmed the 20-point margin in the end.
TweetA fine display by the Premier County as they score 2-32 against the men from Laois in the Allianz Division 1B Hurling league.
