Armagh Box-It off as naming right for Athletic Grounds secured

Armagh GAA has agreed a three-year deal with cardboard box manufacturers Box-It Ireland Limited for the naming rights of the Athletic Grounds.

The Newry and Belfast-based packaging company has become the title sponsors of the Armagh county grounds which includes a 5,600-seater stand and has an overall capacity of around 18,500.

Ahead of their first Allianz Football League home game against Mayo on Sunday, Armagh GAA have revealed that the Cathedral city venue will be renamed ‘Box-It Athletic Grounds'.

Meanwhile, the grounds of Louth senior football champions St Mary's Ardee will be now be called 'DEFY Pairc Mhuire' in partnership with local sportswear brand 'DEFY'.

'DEFY Pairc Mhuire' will play host to four of Louth's Division 2 football league ties over the next two months - starting this weekend with the visit of Rory Gallagher's Derry.
