Emmet Bradley was full of praise for his Glen team-mates after their historic Ulster club SFC final triumph.
The south Derry men were in control throughout as they dethroned Ulster and All-Ireland champions Kilcoo with a 1-12 to 1-6 victory. They can now look forward to an All-Ireland semi-final against Connacht kingpins Moycullen early in the New Year.
"It’s absolutely unbelievable," the midfielder said in an interview with RTÉ.
"I know it’s a cliché to say that but the work that went into arriving at this day. The players never gave up and everybody was rowing the right direction, the same as the club.
"When great people are involved, good things can happen and thankfully that’s what happened there.
"The boys just gave it everything and Kilcoo were always going to be difficult to break, but we managed the game well in the second half and thankfully were able to open them up a wee bit and peg away at the scores."
