The Athletic Grounds has received the green light to stage this afternoon’s crunch Ulster club senior football championship final between Kilcoo and Glen.
Ulster Council confirmed yesterday that there would be a pitch inspection on this morning to determine whether or not the Armagh venue was playable, with Saturday evening’s intermediate final clash between Corduff Gaels and Galbally Pearses in Newry already having been postponed.
It was confirmed this morning that the senior decider will go ahead as scheduled, with throw-in at 1pm.
The game is set to be shown live on TG4 from 12.45pm.
