Crossmaglen Rangers stayed on course for their 46th Armagh senior football championship title after brushing aside Maghery with a 3-15 to 1-6 win at the Athletic Grounds last night.
A Maghery own goal proved the perfect start Crossmaglen as they ran up a 1-8 to nothing lead from there and went in at the interval with a commanding nine-point advantage.
Ronan Lappin pulled back a goal for Maghery five minutes into the restart before Ronan Fitzpatrick and Cian McConville hammered in more goals for Crossmaglen towards the finish.
Into their club's fifth consecutive county senior decider, Stephen Kernan’s side now await the winners of Sunday’s other semi-final clash between Killeavy and Granemore at the Athletic Grounds (2pm).
