Former Dublin forward Eoghan O'Gara is expected to make his Wexford SFC debut for Shelmaliers on Sunday.

The seven-time All-Ireland SFC winner transferred from Templeogue Synge Street earlier this year and is set to line out for his new club in the first round of the Wexford SFC against Sarsfields at Chadwicks Wexford Park.

Shelmaliers, who draw their players from Castlebridge, Screen and Curracloe, is the club of O'Gara's wife Elaine. They are also the reigning Wexford senior football champions and almost reached last year's Leinster club SFC final, only losing to Naas after extra-time in the semi-final at Croke Park.
