Former GAA president Sean Kelly has described the deferral of deliberations on inter-county age grades as a "good decision".

Speculation had been growing that the minor grade would return to U18 next year. However, the Kerry man revealed in a tweet that there will be no Special Congress this autumn and that the Croke Park working group would present proposals to next year's Congress instead.

 

 

There will not be any Special Congress this Autumn by @officialgaa to decide on Age Grades. Instead the Workgroup @CrokePark will have proposals for next years annual Congress. Good decision, in my book.
