The Clifford brothers, David and Paudie, were back in action for their club yesterday, seven days after starring for Kerry in their All-Ireland SFC final victory over Galway.

And they showed no ill-effects from the All-Ireland celebrations as they helped Fossa to a 1-14 to 0-10 victory over Listowel Emmets in the first round of the Kerry Junior Premiership before a large crowd at the Na Gaeil club grounds.

All-Ireland final Man of the Match David bagged 1-9, including 1-2 from play, in what was his first appearance of the year for his club. The return of the Clifford brothers adds considerable firepower to the Fossa attack after they achieved promotion from Division 4 of the County League in their absence.
