New Tipperary senior hurling manager Liam Cahill has finalised his backroom team for the 2023 season.

Three-time All-Ireland winner and six-time All-Star Padraic Maher is part of the set-up having retired from playing earlier this year due to injury.

Maher is joined in Tipp’s backroom team by Loughmore-Castleiney’s Declan Laffan and Clonoulty Rossmore’s TJ Ryan.

Laffan steered Clough Ballacolla to back-to-back Laois SHC titles in the past two seasons while Ryan has worked alongside Cahill at minor and U20 level and also previously guided Clonoulty Rossmore’s to county finals in 2010 and 2011.

Michael Bevans has already been named as team coach after having worked alongside Cahill in Waterford and with Tipp’s U21 & U20 teams.
