This late point from Jamie Malone was what sent Clare into their first All-Ireland senior football championship quarter-final since 2016.
After a penalty and superbly struck free from Keelan Sexton levelled the game against Roscommon at Croke Park, a coolly stroked point from Malone in the fifth minute of injury-time proved the difference as the Banner men moved into the last eight of the Sam Maguire Cup race for the second time ever.
It finished 2-15 to 1-17 to Colm Collins’s side at headquarters.
