This was the goal that sealed Roscommon’s Allianz Football League Division 2 final triumph over Galway this afternoon.
With the game level on 0-19 apiece, Diarmuid Murtagh put the issue to bed for the Rossies with this rocket in injury-time after the Tribesmen had come back from five points down in a superb contest at Croke Park.
Anthony Cunningham’s men held on in six more minutes of injury-time to claim the honours with a 1-20 to 0-22 victory.
