Monaghan star Jack McCarron backed up his second-half penalty against Dublin with this brilliant lob to leave the capital men six adrift in this afternoon’s crunch Division 1 relegation clash in Clones.

The Farney men would go on to record a 3-13 to 1-18 victory, with McCarron nailing the winning free in injury-time, to hold on to their Division 1 status and relegate the Dubs in the process.
