Loughmore-Castleiney GAA have been named Munster Club of the Year for 2021.
The small rural Tipperary club situated between Templemore and Thurles have been rewarded with the accolade after a remarkable 2021 season during which they completed a county senior football and hurling championship double.
It was the second time Loughmore-Castleiney achieved such a feat, following their success in 2013.
Tipperary County Council is planning to host a Civic Reception to celebrate Loughmore-Castleiney's historic achievements.
