Rob Hennelly curled over a sublime free with time expiring to save Mayo a 0-11 apiece draw against Donegal in this afternoon’s Allianz Football League Division 1 clash at Markievicz Park.
The Mayo goalkeeper made no mistake with the levelling free in the fourth minute of injury-time, as the Connacht champions erased their four-point deficit down the home stretch in Sligo Town.
The Breaffy clubman also managed a to save a penalty from Paddy McBrearty with a little under 20 minutes to go, denying Donegal what would’ve been a six-point lead in the soaking wet conditions.
