Cavan GAA have decided to postpone their 2020 Ulster SFC medal presentation ‘due to the increasing rates of Covid-19 nationwide’.

The presentation was scheduled to take place in the Hotel Kilmore this Saturday night but Breffni chiefs have tweeted: “Due to increasing rates of Covid-19 nationwide and in our own County we have decided to defer the Ulster Championship Medal Presentation Saturday night next.

“We feel that in the interest of safety for all concerned their families and our communities that this is the right option.”

Mickey Graham’s men claimed the Anglo Celt Cup for the first time in 23 years following a 1-13 to 0-12 final victory over Donegal at the Athletic Grounds in November, 2020.

The players will, unfortunately, have to wait a little bit longer to get their hands on their hard-earned medals.
