Kerins O'Rahilly's are the first team to book their place in the Kerry SFC semi-finals after seeing off the challenge of Dingle by nine points at Austin Stack Park.

With ace Kerry midfielder David Moran and recently retired Kingdom star Tommy Walsh driving them on, the Strand road men scored an eye-catching 2-16 to 0-13 victory.

After a fast start, O'Rahilly's led by 0-8 to 0-4 at half-time, and had opened up a 2-13 to 0-9 advantage by the end of the third-quarter thanks to goals from Conor Hayes and Gavin O'Brien.

Four successive points from Paul Geaney (2), Conor Geaney and Dylan Geaney had Dingle back on level terms on the restart but the winners hit a crucial purple patch between the 37th and 45th minutes that saw them register 1-4 without reply.

In the second game, St Brendan's defeated Killarney Legion at the quarter-final stage for the third year running, 1-17 to 1-9.
